Living in Vienna
Reflections on living in Vienna — coffee culture, urban nature, and the pace of life.
Vienna has been home since 2020. It's a city that rewards slowness — the coffee houses, the Danube Island, the quiet corners of the Prater.
Some things I've come to appreciate:
- The public transport system is genuinely excellent
- Green spaces are everywhere and well-maintained
- The cultural infrastructure (museums, concerts, theaters) is world-class
- Bureaucracy is real, but manageable once you learn the system
