Small decisions can have big impacts
Sometimes the smallest decisions can have big impacts on things you do. These can be positive but also negative.
Positive impacts
Things like buying a robot to do and automate some mundane tasks (window cleaning, vacuum cleaning), which in turn frees you to do something else is something that has an immense impact on productivity.
Ordering groceries online in bulk instead of going to the supermarket for example not only saves time but also money (both are compounding over the long run). I consider those things also systems in themselves.
And With systems and automated processes you gain compounding interest in your investment of time which is true for the personal live as well. Automating even small things can have huge compounding "profits", as those systems then compound together as well.
Negative impacts
Decisions towards the negative can also compound over time – eating only a couple of sweets every day, spending money on coffee every day or just not moving enough every day will compound to great effects over the long rund.
Takeaways
It makes sense to invest into noticing those small things and steering negative changes towards the positive side and reinforcing positive changes even more towards the positive side.
